Phase1 Trainee Programme

Phase1 is Orion Pharma’s trainee programme for university students that takes place every summer. Orion Pharma’s Phase1 summer trainee programme offers students of various fields, e.g. natural sciences, pharmacy, technology and economics the opportunity to showcase their talent in an international pharmaceutical company. The application period for the programme is in January.

What to expect from our Phase 1 programme

Would you like to spend your summer working for example in a laboratory, research & development, with statistics or in the people & culture organization? 

One of the best parts of the Phase1 trainee programme is the variety of roles and meaningful challenges plus the amazing colleagues, of course. Over the summer, you’ll get hands-on experience, dive into the pharmaceutical industry, and get to know the ins and outs of Orion as an organization. Whether you're diving into data, projects, or new ideas, you’ll be part of something meaningful from day one.

We believe great onboarding is just the beginning. That’s why we offer recurring events, working life workshops, and a mentoring programme to support your growth throughout the traineeship. Because learning doesn’t stop after the first week and neither do you.

Our paid trainee positions run for 3–4 months between May and September, welcoming 30–50 trainees each year.

When applying, tell us about your educational background, preferred timing for the traineeship, areas of interest, and most importantly what motivates you to join Orion Pharma. We want to hear your story! Please note: for GDPR reasons, we can’t accept applications via email. All applications must go through our online system.

We also collaborate with educational institutions at various levels, and our partners may share traineeship opportunities through their own channels—so keep an eye out!
