External recognitions

We have been a member of the globally recognised FTSE4Good Index since 2016. The companies in the index have been independently assessed to meet the FTSE4Good criteria. The FTSE4Good Index Series is designed to measure the performance of companies with strong environmental, social and governance (ESG) practices.

Orion reports to CDP, a not-for-profit charity running the global disclosure system for investors,  companies, cities, states and regions to manage their environmental impacts. In 2024, Orion received ratings B for Climate Change and B for Water Security on a scale of A to D-.

Orion Group was awarded with a bronze medal recognition of sustainability achievement and was rated among the top 35% of all companies in the EcoVadis rating in 2024. EcoVadis is one of the world’s leading sustainability ratings, which covers holistic sustainability topics including environmental, labour and human rights, ethics and sustainable procurement impacts.

In addition Orion has been included in the Financial Times ‘Europe’s Diversity leaders’ and ‘Climate leaders’ listings.
